Yes, get some help to boost the dish up onto the roof. I did it by myself and thought I was going to drop it about half way up. It is not that heavy but really awkward to maneuver while climbing a ladder. Of course, I am a wimp, maybe you can do it with one arm tied behind your back. ;-)

Really was not difficult once I found and fished out the wires - the drawing from Jayco got me real close to the roof wires. Inside the coach the control wire was not where I expected it to be coiled up - so that took me while to trace it. It was all the way down the front column and coiled under the dash. Nice and out of the way but not where it needed it be. Once I found the wire it was easy to pull it to the cabinet where I wanted the control box.

The entire project took about 2 hours plus the time I was looking for the control wire inside the coach.

    Good luck!

    Hi Tinman,
I am getting ready to install a Directv trav'ler dish on our precept. I have a schematic from Jayco. Do you have any tips or suggestions?

    Thanks,
