I have a similar setup, a 2018 HB 17RK which I intend to pull with a 2019 KIA Sorent V6. I have the 2" receiver installed but I still don't have the brake controller in the SUV. So for now I'll be using a 2012 Ram 5.7L for towing but I'm anxious to try the HB with the KIA. Let me know if you have early impressions on that combo.
