That's correct. You'll have to support the frame near the leg you are replacing or just hook it up to the truck. Once the holding bolts are removed, you can pull the leg out through the door hatch....

I should say that I had to take it to the dealer for the initial inspection which only took a couple hours. They then ordered the parts, which took about two weeks or so to get, then I took it back...
