Cable TV Hookup Help
We are trying to figure out how to hook up our RV for cable TV since some of the RV sites offer free cable. We have been all over our RV and have been unable to find where to hook up the cable. Our manual does not have any information either. Not sure what to do?

On my rig, the cable connection is in the same compartment where my power cable is stored. Or, it should be near where all your water controls are located.

On my first TT and our current 5'er, the cable and sat connection was/is in the wet bay.

Mine is in the same spot as the power/shore hookup
Plus
If you have the little green light for the antenna booster, turn it off for cable. It's kinda a switcher unit, which I ways disable since I run DirecTV to my coach

Look in the bay where the 30amp power cord is stored. You may see an electrical box with a silver coax threaded coupler fitting. That's where the extension coax for cable tv will attach, by screwing the coax fitting on to the coupler. If you don't already have some, get a 25' coax cable with fittings on both ends, plus one straight coupler...in case you have to use that with the park's cable that may not be long enough.

Please edit your sig to show which model/make of rig. Some older rigs did not have one. Slightly older rigs have the some where on the drivers side of the rig, others are in the utility port.

I think most trailers have the ANTENNA BOX that will look something like this...
My new off-road trailer did not have one of these which I installed to operate two TV connections inside my trailer from a single outside antenna...
