I used NuFinish on my metal sided trailer for years and it looked good and held up well, even black streaks came off, especially if I was using the NuFinish on the cloth.

Air Mattress

From what I have been reading about the air mattress some type of mat between the mechanism and the mattress is a must, It would definately cut down on leaks.
