TV tires

My '21 Ram 3500 tires will need replacing soon. They are Firestone Transforce LT275/70/R18 with 33K miles. The are still fine, but thread is getting low. I typically replace OEM tires with Michelin but wondering what other brands you all like

Three trucks prior to my current I had Michelin LTX A/T 2’s. They were good tires. A little harsh on sharper bumps at highway speed, but they wore slowly and had great stability.

My current tires are Good Year Trailrunners. Great on bumps and generally a really comfortable tire. Look good too. However, they’re a little squirmy towing and probably won’t make it past 20-25k miles.

I put Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT on my Super Duty. They are quiet, stable and look good in my opinion. They are great when towing. My tire guy highly recommend them.

Earlier this year I replaced my Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT on my Super Duty. They had 69,230 miles on them. They actually passed PA Inspection but were getting too 'thin for my liking'. Tires had over 40,000 miles of towing, rest was snow/mud & street driving.

I changed to Continental TerrainContact™ A/T. I have over 7,000 miles (over 1/2 towing) on them & I'm extremely happy with them. Great for towing & general use.

Thanks, I have read lots of good stuff on Cooper tires

I had Coopers on my Duramax, and as I recall they cupped badly and Discount replaced them for me.

What you get with "what tires", "what wax" etc is the untested favorites of various users. Try calling your local Discount Tire or what ever you might have as a major dealer in your area and ask them. They see hundreds of thousands of tires go through the shop in a year and can pretty well tell you which one's work for your situation and which ones don't, although the "don't" generally don't stay as stock in most stores.

I just put a set of Michelin Defenders on my F-250. Great highway tire but on gravel they tend to throw rocks
