Hey yes we are using the solar on the side plug which is hooked into the tongue jack. Is there any issues with that setup? Why the need to run a new run of wire?

I've had to replace that pin a couple times too.. Ive noticed if i have it sitting at a certain angle then it won't hit the plate and get bent.

Quick update: I drilled holes for the set screws and reset the entire hitch, and just got back from a 2000km trip with the trailer. Everything held up great and the brackets didn't walk forward...

I reset the entire hitch and drilled pilot holes for the set screws, as well as set the brackets on a slight angle. Hopefully this works! Will report back after a trip or two.

Yeah I actually extra tightened the set screws last time but it still happened, and it actually resulted in a bit of frame crushing :(. maybe i'll look into drilling a hole for the set screw! thx
