Four years tomorrow (10/16) since we first picked up our trailer. Still no issues to speak of this past year! Has been a solid unit. Just wish it was a bit bigger now that our boys are growing up!

Our Jayco, the two year report, UPDATE, FOUR year report

Glad to hear you're so trouble free. I hope my luck continues on my '12 29qbh. 18 months and no dealer trips ( knock on wood).

Well the 28BHS was born 5 years ago yesterday, Sept 30. Picked it up Oct 16 and were camping in it that night. Still a solid unit after 5 years, no new issues during year 5 to speak of. There are still times I wish we had a larger slide and more room, maybe someday.......

That's awesome to hear! Sure hope mine is trouble free after I get my few issues resolved. I hear you on the bigger slide as we have been kicking the idea around also.

09 bhs

Hi, looking hard at an 09 BHS which seems like a good deal...went over it with a fine tooth comb yesterday. Other than the floor which had 2 cracks in in and were re glued down I found no issues that I cant explain other than these: Behind the couch in each corner of the slide there is some black on the plywood floor along the exterior walls...this is on both corners...plywood feels solid...no water stains on wall behind couch from window and the walls each feel solid. As well the roof looks fine except the roofing fabric almost feels a little loose right at the edge...all the calking looks good...ceiling from inside feels solid....any advice?

Here I go again with another update, the years just keep rolling by. 6 years on October 16 since we picked up the new 28BHS. Still no major issues to report. No leaks, floor is solid as a rock. Did suffer a blowout last November but with no trailer damage. Replaced all tires with Maxxis and went up a load range. All systems and appliances functioning normally. Trailer still cleans up good and shines nicely. Roof and caulking look good. A few dings after 6 years in the siding but not bad. Have a trailer with more living space and no bunks on our wish list when the boys are grown. But that can wait, for now we are still enjoying old dependable.

Happy Birthday! Have you replaced your shackles and bushings yet? If so, what did you use?

I have not replaced them yet, I suppose a thorough inspection is in order.
