Seasonal sites

Just curious, how many folks have their units set up at a seasonal site? I have not considered that. Too many corp of engineer campgrounds and state parks in Georgia that I don't think I could ever visit them all. I guess there are advantages to being set up at one seasonal site if you really liked it. Any thoughts on this???

I did it for about 6 years. I found I used my TT far more than when towing. It was reasonably close to home so the kids could bring friends. All in all it made sense then. Now not so much.

I personally haven't done that but my sister has for a couple of years and she loves it. She sets up for the summer and has a blast! The campground she goes to also offers discounts for seasonal camping guests. It's just a matter of personal preference really. Try it one summer and see how you like it and then go from there. Happy camping my friend!

I have had mine now for 3 years. The rv park is part of the marina where we keep our boat. We use them both more now than ever. It is so convenient to just unlock the camper, put your clothes and food in then walk 75 yards and lower the boat.

This will be our 8th year on a seasonal site. We moved to the Milwaukee area a dozen years ago and found something midway between us and the family in St Paul. The trailer goes up in April and comes home in October. During the summer if we travel, we launch from the seasonal site. We have our summer neighbors, winter neighbors and find we get a lot of use out of the trailer this way.
