KM Resort Memberships

Anyone have some history or previous experience with the K/M Resort membership? We received a call saying we won a free year membership and apparently they select only 4 people a year. Not sure I believe the whole "you won" pitch since I heard a full room of telemarketers in the background. They are suppose to call me back later this evening. Anyways, before I sit through the whole sales pitch I thought I would ask around and see if anyone had any inside information.

We are already Worldmark and Thousand Trails members, not sure I need another one... haha

Everyone wins a free year membership, but you must pay the maintenance fee still if you use the parks you can break even. Pick a resort and when they call tell them you want a free stay 3 or 4 days and then you will make up your mind. Park memberships have not worked out for me all depends on your particular circumstances

We have a K/M membership if you use it enough its great our home park is Beachwood, we also won a free membership though camping world that we would give to friends but I would not offer it until I knew what we had won. Talked to two different sales people and they would not tell me what we had won, only to bring in friends so they could sell a membership which we did not do. By the way K/M has about 50 different memberships that they sale.
