Blown fuse....

Okay, DW tried to run AC and Microwave on 30 amp hookup.Yes, she knows better. Boom, loss of power. I, hubby, gets on floor and replaced 30 amp fuse in the fuse box.

We then get power back (hooked up by shore power). But without shore power, nothing operates off the battery. Is there an additional fuse in the fuse block that needs replacement.

This all does not make sense. AC & Microwave only work on shore power. If you blew the circuit protection it may be the breaker at the campground post. If you did indeed blow a fuse (12vdc) you have something else going on unrelated to AC & Microwave. AC & Microwave are generally separate circuit breakers in your power panel.

Just for the record, you should be able to run both the A/C and microwave off your 30 amp service without tripping a breaker unless there is something wrong with one of them. Look in your power panel and you will see breakers for each of them. Chances are they are 15 amp breakers. However, your microwave likely doesn't draw more than 10 amps at peak power and your A/C will not draw 15 amps either.

We often run our A/C and microwave at the same time with no problem.
