Hinged Mattress?

Just purchased a used X23B. Mattresses are pretty well shot and we'd like to replace... hopefully a foam topper will help us bridge the time gap until we can find where on planet earth you can buy the hinged mattresses.

My husband and I have BOTH been scouring the internet on where to find replacement mattresses... nothing! Any help would be appreciated.

Contact a local mattress manufacturer. I am sure they could make you one.

I believe themays is referring to a hybrid mattress that has to fold in half when closing the bunkend.

Is keeping cost down important? There are RV salvage yards. Many RV mattresses don't get enough use to wear out. Try an internet search for the locations. Maybe plan one of your trips to include a stop at a salvage yard that has what you need?

Have you called a Jayco dealer? Or call Jayco in Indiana directly. You can talk to their parts department, and order from them, or find out where to order. 800-283-8267. (Personal experience talking...)

I have a hinged short queen mattress in our slide out. Probably going to haft to have a custome one made.
I contacted the dealer and they can order one from using my Vin number but it will be like the one that came with the unit and I want to upgrade the quality .

Mattress? It's closer to foam rubber inside a cover. I'd get some 4"+ memory foam and have an upholstery shop cover it.

What about a folding guest mattress as found on Amazon? Comes in twin, full, or queen, in 4" or 6" thick. We slept on a 6" full in our trailer, and it worked well. Folded to one third of its length x 18" high.
