I know the manuel says not to lift by the axle...but has anyone ever used a Bottle Jack Buddy? I saw one of these online and thought maybe it was a possibility. When we go to get new tires, we cannot find a place that doesn't want to lift our trailer up by the axle. We are trying to find something we know is safe and reliable. Lifting the frame with a bottle jack seems so dangerous since it needs to be lifted so high. Has anyone tried the Bottle Jack Buddy?

Put it under the spring attachment and lift away.

Yes, you are correct...never lift a trailer by the axle tube, no matter with what. I see those designed for jacking up cars and trucks. Vehicle axles are much thicker material than trailer axle tubes and would benefit from a device like that.

That's what America's Tires does when I get new tires.

A double ram bottle jack might also work for lifting on the frame:
