How do you remove Doghouse on Precept

Have any of you had experience removing the doghouse on the Jayco Precept? I did see a post by a guy who removed all of the carpet and put sound dampening mats and material down, but he didn't actually remove the doghouse. I have found a few random screws, some loose, around it but really no indication how to remove it. And the Web is silent in terms of search engines.

In our first motorhome with the gas engine and dog house there were two screws and two latches.

Do you have a picture of it?

I am guessing its a Ford Chassis. Put the drivers and passenger seat as far back as possible. If it has the ford cup holders, pull up on that assembly (takes a little force) and it should pop off. Then there are 2 latches on either side of the dog house (right about at the bottom of the dash panels) unlatch those and there are 2 near the floor below where the cup holders were. It does make it easier to pull off the lower dash panel on the drivers side to get it out. Slide it back and pull back at the top and you can sneak it out between the seats. Its really quite easy. Hope that helps! Dave
