Silly question I know, but 100% heat comes from the propane, correct? I have motorhome plugged into house power at moment and no heat, would there be heat if plugged into 30amp system or heat comes from propane only?

The furnace runs 100% off propane. The blower fan runs off 12V DC from the house batteries.

Most of us have and use a small portable electric heater to save on propane. The smaller ceramic heaters seem to be the most popular. ~CA

Now might be the time, as winter stuff is getting marked down. We have a 1500 watt Tower style heater from Target that does a decent job of keeping the chill out.

I saw a smaller 1500 heater on clearance at our Lowes the other day. $60 down to $20.

If you have 30A feeding your RV at the house, you could run two 1500 watt heaters and only turn one off when you fired up the microwave.
