Mounting Things to Walls
I'm wondering what are some good ways to mount things to the walls of my travel trailer. Obviously there's the Velcro route, but if I want something more permanent, I'm wondering what to use.

X3 - we've also found that wiping the area down with rubbing alcohol, especially if the surface is wood, helps the tape hold better

x4, we actually use the big ones inside our shower at the house to hang towels on. They hold up to the damp area really good.

And one of the best benefits of them, when you want to remove them they come off without leaving a trace that they were ever there.

Depending on what you are attaching to the wall, you could also use pop rivets.

Yep, the command strips work great! We have them for hanging towels and our shower caddy. I love them!

What kind of shower caddy? My shower surround is very textured; no smooth surface. The command hooks and water strips did not hold the caddy. It came crashing down in the middle of the night. I'm considering using a screw/hook and caulking around to seal.

On the walls where we don’t have a stud behind what we want to mount we use pop Rivets. Use small screws in studs.
100 Pcs 1/8" x 5/8" Aluminum Pop Rivets, 3.2 x 16mm Blind Rivets, Black https://a.co/d/arDV3Ji
They work great. Command strips are way too expensive and don’t last.
We also use these metal hooks instead of command hooks. I got like 50 of them for around $8.
