Fair enough.
My stabilizers are way aft off the axles...it is a long span front to back if wheels are off the ground - which would cause a lot offrame flex/bounce.

Wheels off ground

Not sure that the trailer frame is designed to span full length, without the intermediate support from the wheels/axle.

So the Kayaks don't extend beyond the back window of the truck, and they cantilever out over the hood. About how long are your Kayaks?
Thanks for the info.

Has anyone come up with a good way to carry a couple of kayaks while pulling their 5th. Wheel campers? Any way to mount them vertically from the rear hitch?
Thanks

The master cabin mattress on our 2017 29.5 BHDS was also junk... I think they only put it on the bed to have something to cover up the plywood... as it was not "sleep-able". This is a small thing...

Tow vehicle

We have a 2017 29.5 HT BHDS. We pull it with a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD, with the v-8 gas engine. Behind the camper, we also often pull a small cargo trailer (about 2,500 lbs total), to Art Fairs. The...

I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD and a 2017 29.5BHDS camper. My truck has the 6-1/2 ft. box, so they installed the Reese slider hitch (forgot the model number). If I am careful when turning sharp, in...

Tire Life estimate for factory tires?

I realize there are a lot of variables in determining tire life, and that you can't necessarily judge the condition of a trailer tire by the amount of tread left (as you can with cars). I have also...

Not sure we use more electricity by trickle charging in-place with the trailers trickle charging system - vs. trickle charging the battery on your workbench.

I have left my last two trailers plugged in all winter, with no issues. I think the battery charging systems on the new trailers have much "smarter" controls and don't over charge.

Propane door

You might also check the gasket in the door... ours (2017 29.5BHDS) keeps slipping out of the groove... when it does that, the door is not tight to the trailer frame, and it could open easily.
