Truck for Eagle HT

New here. I have searched and I feel like I've gone down a rabbit hole and I am just looking for answers that I can't seem to find. Please help if you can.

If you have an Eagle HT 29.5, what do you tow it with? Ok not asking for the half-ton debate, simply wanting to know what "stock" trucks people have towed theirs with that did not require any alterations other than 16" tires on the 5er.

I'd appreciate all sizes, makes and models. Thanks in advance!

Truck for Eagle HT

I have an Eagle HT 28.5 and I tow it with a 2006 Chevy 3500 drw and I have absolutely done NO alterations and still using 15" tires on the 5ver as well.

29.5 BHDS Eagle HT pulled with a 2015 F-350 CCSB 4x4. Trailer has 16" wheel package and suspension in the lowest holes on the hangers. No other mods.

I also have a 29.5 BHDS and pull it with a stock 2011 F350 CCSB 4x4. I have done no modifications to the trailer and it rides nearly perfectly level. I may drop it to the lower holes on the shackles to gain an inch or 2, but it's not needed. Stock 15" wheels/tires on the trailer and I see no need to change that.

We have the '13 29.5RKS, not an HT, and pull it effortlessly with a stock F350, diesel. I did have the RV raised to the next suspension holes (+2.5"), to get it at level. Stock tires all the way around.

We love our Combo of 2015 Ram 2500 Diesel and Eagle HT 29.5BHDS. The Ram has plenty of torque and tow capacity to tow our trailer. Here's a picture.

My Eagle HT 29.5 FBDS will be in at the end of February. I will be towing with a 2016 F250 Crew Cab with 8 foot bed and 20 inch tires.

I did get the 16 inch tires on the camper.

Both my TV and 5th are posted below. All I've done is add the hitch (plus diesel - as required).

Edit: I also added mud flaps to help keep the 5th cleaner.

I tow our 2016 29.5 BHDS with a 2001 F350 diesel with no problems .. The only thing I did was adjust the trailer suspension to the highest setting so the trailer would sit level..

I have a 2016 Jayco 29.5BHDS and tow it with a 2007 Ram 2500 4x4 Hemi. Tows like a dream and way better than my 29foot Wilderness Travel Trailer. I know the Jayco's are "rated" to be towed by a 1/2 ton but I wouldn't be comfortable with that at all! I made the switch to a heavy duty truck wouldn't go back to a 1/2 ton!

Have 2015 F250 4x4 and have a 2017 Eagle HT 27.5rlts with the 16" tires on order. Hope to have it by early April.
I had a 2012 F150 and at first planned on getting the 2015 HT, but they went up 300lbs on the pin weight. I got scared off and got the 3/4 ton.

See my signature as well. I am using the Revolution (Sidewinder) pin box w/ a Reese 16K Pro hitch. Nothing fancy, all in all. Rides maybe 2" high at the nose with about 5" of clearance over the bed rails.

We tow out Eagle HT 27.5RLTS with Nissan Titan Crew Cab and a sliding hitch - Added air lift system to level, and pulls great! We originally thought we would feel the need to quickly upgrade to a 2500, although with thousands of miles under our tires, we are going to stay with our Titan!
