We have a 2015 36KPTS and our fan only lasted about a year before it failed similar to yours. We replaced it with a 52 in. Hunter on a 3in. down rod and have had no issues.

I agree this is the first place that I would start looking for the leak. Many of us have had to replace these short hoses. Most of the time the small o-rings that are in them dry out and crack.

You're absolutely right Tim, if the status light is yellow it's telling you that the inverter is using power from the batteries. When plugged to shore power the status light should be green.
