Mods to 377 RLBH?

Anxious to get our new trailer home and doing a little customizing. [emoji1]

Given the fact that the rig is pretty good from the factory, there's not a lot I need to do. Here's what I'm planning:

Change both faucets to residential high rise faucets
Install my hard wired ems
Install jack antenna
Install JT Strongarms
Install sewer hose holder
Add a "back" to the bunk closet to separate it from the entry side closet
Change shower head

What did those of you with this model do? Am I missing something?

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Most of those are stuff we do from the get go as well, except the antenna. Hadn't got around to that one. I like the back to the bunk closet idea. If the stain color is similar to mine, I can hook you up with where I got the exact stain they used, but you may prefer just getting it matched locally.

Ever consider making your own JT stabilizers? Not to hard to duplicate for pennies on the dollar.

I'll probably get the stain locally. Heck I probably have something close to it in my garage. I already have the JTs as I removed them from my previous rig. Same with the antenna.

BTW, John I looked into the slide out issue and the 377 does have 1 slide that isn't a schwintek. David at majestic called those things "skis"

That's a new one. Guess they do resemble them a little. Good deal on already having stuff left over to reuse. I got quite the collection. Hope somebody chips in with more ideas. I know there are a few 377s's floating around on here.

I added hooks and a three tier plastic storage drawer to the basement.
New shower head with an on off.
I have no genny prep so I made the front storage two levels.
Made the top level battery shelf removable so I could get 6v Trojans on the bottom.
Made a plastic sheet for under the batteries so they stop falling between the steel slats on the bottom of the battery storage.
Installed a Dyson V6 in the closet (the central vac is useless)
Wired the televisions to the inverter for times without shore power.
Attached a twist lock, right angle adapter to the end of 50 amp shore power cord.
Made a twist lock, right angle 50amp to 20amp cord for plugging in at home.
Thinking about solar.
Thinking about cutting in a sound bar above the fire place (ceiling speakers horrible)
Installing reverse lights when it gets warm out.
SERIOUSLY considering disk brakes

Now that's a list! [emoji1]
How did you wire TVs to the inverter? I'd like to wire the outside receptacle to the inverter to power a compressor for airing up a tire while on the road

Hey Tom, why not add a Viair system to your truck. I like the inverter idea regardless, but our onboard compressor / tank is mounted in the tool box with QD on the running board. That way, always with the truck / camper. Carry a 50' hose which reaches everything.

You could simply just join into the output wire on the inverter and add a plug in the basement for your compressor. SMALL COMPRESSOR

Because I already have a compressor, and I'm too frugal to buy the viair. [emoji16]

Just to be safe.

9.5 Amps is pretty heavy... Nothing else should be running on the inverter. I'm iffy if it would even start up. You should have a 1500watt inverter to run that.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

Can really save you some aggravation getting wheel well and\or body panel repairs when the tires fail catastrophically, at a minimum. And worse case scenario, save your life should you lose control of the trailer and or TV.

Most systems allow the monitoring on the TV and the RV.

My factory kitchen faucet in my NP 375bhfs is a real pain.

It seems that the handle moves around quite a bit while underway, which in turn causes any remaining water to leak all over the kitchen island and subsequently all over the floor.

Are they easily replaced with a more heavy duty model?

Yes. I already have TST 507

Very easy to replace. I've changed the faucet on every camper I've owned. It's about a 10 minute job...30 if it's your first time

Fantastic. Another question then.

Can I simply go to a big box like Lowes, and purchase a "single hole" faucet? I assume it doesn't have to be RV specific?
