Seneca door sill loose

I’m have problems keeping my entry door (camper side door) sill tight.
It appears to have two screws holding and those keep backing out.
I had it in for some other warranty work and the said they added some metal backing and retightened it..... a dozen times of open/close the door and it is loose again. The door strut attaches to this plate and pushes/pulls every time the door is opened/closed.

Any ideas on how to fix this ?
The dealer is 2 months out on any warranty work and it a +3hrs round trip out there. If I can fix it myself I’ll go that route.

We have the same issue with our first generation Seneca and haven't found a 'perfect' solution.

Same thing on 2014, just keep a square driver handy and tighten often. Have considered putting a dab of silicone in hole to see if that would absorb vibration that must be causing this.

We tried that last year with ours to no avail.

Ours is doing the same thing... I just put a phillips screwdriver in the kitchen drawer for the regular adjustment and tightening that it requires...

I say adjustment... as sometimes when our jacks level the Seneca a certain way - the door will stick in the latch assembly. That is when I loosen the screws and re-align the door latch plate with the door hardware. Tighten it back and the DW magically stops complaining about the door sticking.

Our door can also get 'sticky' depending upon how much the jacks are extended.
Thanks for the post!
