A bungee strap to hold it to the hitch is now used every time I pull it anywhere.

A HazMat call out had it gotten away and exploded after hitting some rock or berm.

I ended up with two Rhino 21's and the Flojet. The 21's will slide in on either side of the fiver hitch and are easier to manage than 1 42 gallon. Cost was a lot less too.

I'm just hoping that by 'blue tote' you are referring to a sewer tote and not one of the blue plastic containers with a lid used for storage. They spill too easily.

Ewwwww!

LOL. I suppose it was better than rolling away from you and not seeing it in time to catch it! So “stuff” really does flow downhill as they say

LOL! Yup, wheeled tote, towed to the dump with the hook over the ball. My parents never had one, somebody gave me one when we found out we couldn't use campground bathrooms due to Covid.

All works great.
Do you have a photo of that visual fill bubble gauge on the vent cap to prevent overfilling.

A tip: When filling the portable tank, don't lean over and look into the vent hose fitting!

Don't ask!

Portable tank

Portable tanks can haul black water. Just rinse well at the dump station. Please check the wheels and valve and tow at recommended speeds! It is no fun for park workers to clean up a spill on park roads, or other campers to unknowingly ride through a spill on a bike. I don't haul black water in my large tank, but I take a smaller one for black water if I think I will need it on a trip.

A little tangent.
Does anyone know of a smallish takedown/easy stow-able, receiver hitch platform to lash a tote to.
I have a standard size carrier, one that is not easily stow-able. I would not like to tow my tote on the rough campground road I use.
Thanks
