This is my second Jayco, and at this time I would say I would NOT by another Jayco. The first Jayco as all trailers had a few minor issues, but fixable. Overall a good unit. My current Jayco is nothing but problems. Quality control seems to be non existent, and the materials used are of very poor quality. The most current is is the fiberglass cap on the front of the trailer has to be replaced. It has cracks everywhere. The dealer says Jayco had some supplier problems, which once again become my problem and inconvenience.

I would only "consider" another brand if I could take my Jayco dealer with me. They are superior and I'm saying this after 4 years since my purchase.

I am on my third Jayco.

I have owned two Jayco's prior to the one I have now. No manufacturer is going to be perfect but Jayco's build quality, IMHO, is superior to the competition. I know of many I camp with who have purchased Coachman or other brands who have been very displeased straight out of the gate with build quality of their units. I have not experienced one issue with mine and have bought one used and two brand new units. You pay a bit more for a Jayco than the competition but I believe you get more too.

Definately yes, we just purchased our third Jayco. Hopefully in 10 years we will upgrade to another Jayco if they still have the 5th wheel floorplan we like!

Like tatteroo we just purchased our third Jayco. We love the new Pinnacle and have had no complaints on the quality of workmanship. Like every large purchase there were a few minor problems. Our dealer never questioned the issue and has always provided great service.

Had our Jayco Whitehawk for approaching 2 years, no real issues, everything functions as it should, shoot, even the dreaded Chinese tires haven't exploded and damaged the trailer. Jayco's construction/build quality seems average for the industry (I have definitely seen worse from other manufacturers when shopping). The floorplan works for us, though we wish the bed and bath were larger, but we weren't blindfolded when we purchased it. So yes, if we were to buy another RV, I'd give Jayco a fair hearing, and our dealer (Orlando RV) figured greatly in our decision to buy the WhiteHawk.

we're on/in our 4th jayco. all purchased new from same dealership. hopefully this is our last of any make or model rv. given that, yes it would most likely be another jayco if we were to buy. not necessarily brand loyal but they have met our needs in
design, quality, price, and dealer service...same dealer since 1997.

Yes I would. Have been to many RV shows and I'm still happy with our 28DSBH. The only trailers I would consider is a Flight 28BHBE or Eagle with the similar plan.

This is my second Jayco. It has been back to the dealer numerous times for warranty repairs. I'm glad Jayco has a 2 year warranty but not happy that I have to use it all the time. I have 2 months left on the warranty and the carpet under the front slide is coming apart, waiting on an O.K. from Jayco to get that repaired.
Next time I will probably do a little more research and maybe not another Jayco.
A few things that had to be repaired are,
city water filling up on board water tank
leaky shower stall
inside slide trim header pieces falling apart
wood trim around inside of rear slide coming off
front slide not coming all the way, had to be adjusted twice.
Drawer under couch missing strap that holds it closed when your moving.
carpet coming apart
screw sticking up under kitchen floor
black water drain lever came off in my hand
wheel bearings throwing grease all over the left side wheels
and just about every screw that holds latches for cabinet doors has come out
silverware drawer latch came off
no stopper for bathroom sink
and probably a few other things I have forgot about.
