wersqu, try this. I had to fix my closet rods when they fell off. this is a permanent fix I come up with. All weight of the rods is on the floor. Hope this helps. In the instructions it says 1x2's....

Pinnacle 36KPTS Pantry Lights Mod
Installed led light strips for the two bottom shelves in the pantry. Without the lights it is too dark to see what's on the shelves. Let there be light. Much better now.
