I don’t see any water leaks, but the fan comes on near simultaneously with the black tank flush. Could it be leaking elsewhere not near the actual heater that would effect the fan coming on?

I have the same converter Tom. If I recall it will not properly charge any Lithium battery. You will not have an issue with AGM or standard lead acid.
