I believe (for warranty work) they'll ask for the receipt/bill of sale/ etc. If you can find that I'm sure the next owner would appreciate it.

Perhaps not. When mine needed to be replaced due to it failing from a short in the power pole progressive was very understanding about not having the sales receipt. It had been a gift 6 years prior. I merely had to return it, best customer service I have dealt with.

Most companies that offer lifetime warranties usually won't ask for a receipt/bill of sale. Last year I had two Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controllers go bad, sticky buttons. Both times they didn't ask for anything other than my address to ship replacements and I didn't have to return the old ones. Its nice when companies stand behind their products.

I just bought one of these new for $104 with free shipping.
Why are you asking so much?

I believe from looking at the OP's progressive unit it is an EMS and not just a surge proctor. The are more expensive.

Apples to oranges; his offers a greater range of protections.

Yours protects against surges....his protects against everything else that could go wrong with the electric power...like comparing a pop up to a motorhome...both have beds and a sink...

Incidentally, if anyone in Utah is looking for the same EMS I have one for sale for $150.00. I also bought a 50 amp fifth wheel so I have no need for it.

I have an almost new PT30X unit purchased late last year that went to the factory to be upgraded to the new cover model, located in FL if anyone interested for $175 plus shipping. Just purchased MH and PT50X.

My most sincere and heartfelt apologies. It was not my intention to jump on someone else's post who I thought was asking for options. As a new Precept 35S owner with very little posts, I will be more careful not to offend possible sensitivities in the future. Again, so sorry and I will not respond to any queries regarding the sale of my unit from this post.

Don't freak out, you apologized so just move on. If you get calls, go for it.
