Jayco 2015 Model Year Update
Well, as you probably know, I am in the process of placing my order on a 2014 Jayco Eagle Touring.
I am located in Salt Lake City, Utah and the local Camping World Dealership here stated that anticipated delivery date of this unit would be sometime in mid March. However, I don’t intend to do any camping/ travelling until towards the end of May or early June.
That said, I am weighing my options on whether to just wait until the 2015 Model year comes out. Of which I presume the model update info via Jayco website would be available sometime in April.
Does anyone know exactly when this info would be released online? Will I be able to place my order through the Dealership as soon as the info is available online?
Again, I am not in so much hurry but I would like to have my unit by end of June latest. The 2015 Model year of course would be a ‘newer unit’ when the day comes that I need to sell or upgrade vs a 2014 Model year.
What do you think?

We are looking at a new TT too, likely will end up ordering if we can't find what we want off the lot. A sales rep at a dealership we purchased from last time, and likely will again, mentioned he heard Jayco started to setup 2015 MY for some lines already. He also said they don't publicize what transitions when to prevent exactly what you and I would like to do. No reason to rush out for a '14 if '15s are only a few weeks away.

Usually the new model year production starts in April or May, HOWEVER the website in past years has not updated until sometime in August. I can only presume that this is to help dealers get the old model year units sold.

One thing to keep in mind is Jayco discontinues some of their models each year. It is possible the floorplan you want won't be around for the 2015 models. Take it from an owner of a discontinued model, luckily we got our 2014 in mid 2013.

We have a 2010 EXP21M and that one has also been discontinued and we feel that floor plan is the best one ever for us. If it came a few feet longer we would buy one in a heart beat only because when you take 3 grand kids (boys) for 2 weeks plus a little more room would come in handy. Only 93 days left till we're on the road again to beat the spring flowers popping out. Boy, I love this TT.

They stopped the Eagle version of mine after a short 2014 MY run, glad I didn't wait.

Ditto on the 2014 WH 30dsre. But its almost impossible to find out anything about the unannounced next model year units until they hit the dealer lots. We ordered our new unit in March from the dealer in Middlebury In. Actually ordered it as a 2013 without giving any considerstion to the change over to the 14's. Our order hit just at the right time and we got the 14 at the 13 price. When we picked it up, the dealer [2 1/2 miles from the Jayco factory] had never seen one. Ours was used as a "look at this and look at that" by the staff. Your dealer will want to sell you what they have on the lot. They can submit orders until the end of Feb or maybe mid March, but by this time of year they are looking to move the existing inventory. You should demand a deep discount and show a willingness to wait until you can find out about the 2015's and you will probably get their attention. If they won't deal, or as I recommend, get on line. You will find your best deals online. There are several threads about doing business with a local dealer vs an online dealer. You might want to read to get the pros and cons. Unfortunately the new model year is a crap shoot.

Glad I got my 2013 Eagle 266RKS when I did! Jayco's website still shows the 2014 "Limited to dealer stock" . . . and there's not a dealer in the country with stock.

Hello from Utah County!
We bought our '14 in August last year. There was no info about it on the website until early October. We just happened to trip on the floor plan after asking the salesman to show us every bunkhouse model on the lot.

I would call jayco and talk to the sales rep, I just ordered a new 2014 that they have already made a lot of changes to compared to the early 2014 we have been looking at. I would have never known till I seen another members new rig that just got one with all the upgrades. The new upgrades is what won us over the early 2014.
I would call ours a 2015 with a 2014 sticker on it.

I put a deposit down for a 2014 31ss and was then advised that the ss was being discontinued and I was offer a unit that was all ready built or a 2015 FK. I delayed on the decision until the sales rep got me the updated colors, options and pricing. I went with the 2015 31FK at a slightly higher price but it was probably a wise decision being a year newer. I am expecting in May.

Not sure if it helps, but ours came in early February with new features. Dealer said it's a 2015 model. Basically all frameless windows, two skylights in kitchen area, all led lighting, different flooring, windows trim, backsplash, etc. Same cost as the earlier model without all of those features. I've posted several pics in the pics forum.

We were able to find a 2013 model in the floor plan that we liked and saved a lot of money by getting one off the dealer's lot instead of ordering.

We are planning to order a 2015 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS. Just waiting to hear about any new changes for 2015 on this model. Getting eager to pull the trigger.

Order Update***
When I ordered my Jayco Touring Edition way back in the beginning of January. It was ordered classified as a 2014.
Yesterday as I was having the 5th Wheel Hitch installed on my truck, the sales rep told me that the VIN number barely came out a few days ago. I have the VIN number for my 5'er and the 10th character is 'F' instead of 'E'. This tells me that it is indeed a 2015 instead of 2014.
I am in the car business and I know how to interpreter the vin decoder really good.
That said, contact your sales rep. Request for the VIN # if it is already available. If the 10th character is 'E' then it is a 2014. If 'F' then you have a 2015.
Mine will go into production towards the end of this months. We are all way excited but the wait sure does feel like eternity. Is this normal?
