Pressure regulator
I have been using the common, inexpensive flow-through pressure regulator, but I'm not happy with the flow. I know that there are adjustable regulators to be had, but I don't know what brand to buy. The adjustable ones that I have seen are very expensive, and I don't want to buy one that will not be satisfactory. Any information that you can give me about the brand that you are using and how satisfied you are with it would be greatly appreciated

The common regulators are adjustable....but personally - I wouldn't fool with it.
First, I would check the exterior breather vents on the two stages of the regulator for obstruction to see if that helps (I would post a picture of what to look for - but the forum no longer allows imbedded pictures). Next - I would take it to a certified propane repair facility to see if you are getting the proper 11"WC pressure out of the regulator.
The appliances are all factory calibrated for 11"WC pressure....mess with that and you may be making a flame which is too large for the combustion chamber, air mixture recalibration, ignition difficulties...etc
Good luck

Are you referring to a water pressure regulator? If so, most of the problem is campground pressure, not your inline regulator- If you refer to a propane regulator, my advice is seek a pro for help- Propane is too volatile for me to mess with- JMHO- DD

Watts seem to be after referred to on the forum. I don't personally have one, but they seem really nice. From what I understand they true adjustable pressure regulators not a flow reducer. IIRC they cost ~$75.
I'm sure someone here that uses it can chime in with specifics.

I recommend the Watts 263A. Get the oil filled gauge option.

I have a Watts with a 3/4 inch in/out. You can get in from any Home big box store and all the fittings(brass) to use it in your RV. They are pretty common among people that camp a lot. They sell rebuild kits for them online but I just get a new one every 4-5 years.
I would post a picture but I hear we are not allowed to post them?

I have the Watts 263A with oil filled gauge. Would I buy it again? You bet.

Wow, I am surprised anyone could actually understand what I typed. I guess that is what I get trying to post from a phone and not proof reading before submitting.

I had no problem.... been married for 32 years.
I send and receive some strange text messages but always seem to have a little fun figuring out what is being said.
