Propane powered RV generators

An acquaintance has a Kohler 4500 watt propane generator available for sale. I have no experience with propane generators, and am looking for someone who has such experience. How do they compare with gas powered ones, in regard to noise, fuel efficiency, maintenance, reliability, etc. ?

Would appreciate any and all comments on this subject. Thanks in advance.

No different than any other generator really. Exhaust doesn't stink as much as a gasoline powered generator, there is little to no carbon fouling of the oil. You'll have a funny looking regulator thing on the carburetor...other than that it simply converts propane into electricity.
