RV parks by Factory

Going to be bringing my FW up to factory in Oct from Fl panhandle. I know some have picked up new RVs from dealers by factory. What is a nice close park to the repair center? Also anyone make the trip from up there to North West Florida area?

X2 on KOA. Been a LONG time since we stayed there, so couldn't tell you what it looks like now.

Tks guys. I found several and might just stay 40 miles away. KOA seems to be pricey. This will be an adventure since I will be up in NW Fl where airline flights are pricey. Gonna drop FW off than lv truck at airport in South Bend fly to Tampa rent car and drive back to NW Fl. Than repeat in reverse 18 days later.

At least I know the factory is going to be replacing roof and removing big slide and repairing that plus several other issues.

Cannot say enough about Jayco warranty and how nice it is dealing with them. Never waited more than a day or two for a call back or e mail.

I actually believe that they do care about customer satisfaction and making things right.

I did not get ur abbreviation. I just talked with Jayco and he never mentioned anything there for over nighting. I just have to be at the service center at 7am. So I might just stay at that close KOA campground. I do plan on doing a factory tour that day since I have a 4:00 afternoon flight back to Tampa

They have water and elec on the side of the building and a dump station in the lot as well. Call to verify it will be available.

Campgrounds near Middlebury

Lots of choices. Including the KOA that was mentioned, there is also Eby's Pines in Bristol and Elkhart Campground as good choices.

Rock... my brain is fading or I just don't know.
What's wrong with the slide?
I know your roof has the staple problem. Is that why they are replacing the roof?
What about your bent ladder?
I have a feeling you might be a little "vocal" while in the factory. I would have a hard time holding back.

Not just staples thru the roof but the Luann looks like a tee pee running down both sides.

My slide jammed and the out rigger by jack bent like a pretzel. Roller under slide bent down and roller bracket is ripping the slide bottom material.

And my occasional wheel rub on the inside of the slide.

I would let a place like Lazy Days do the roof but to remove the slide and fix no. Just factory repair.

I have the new ladder and will bring it for them to do. The old ladder has to be removed for roof and if I did it now it would be removed again. Do not want to wear out the mount holes.

Jayco has been great to deal with like I have said. To bad most dealers by me are just useless.

Oh ya. Now I remember.
What did you do, just call Jayco and set this up?
Or does a dealer have to refer you like your family dr referring you to a specialist

CW documented the roof with Jayco and I sent them a bunch of pictures. I was gonna drive back to Tampa once House is done to have Lazy Days do roof.

When Fingerlakes told me about his hidden outrigger and found mine the same I contacted Jayco. With the bottom roller bracket rubbing the slide will need to be removed.

There is no one I trust to remove slide and fix the floor and whatever else they find but Jayco. I am also sure the roof will be done right this time.

The service center is booked till late Aug but my house will not be ready till Sept (it better be done by than). I figured Oct the weather would still be ok up there so that is what I asked for.

It is a bunch of money for me to do two trips but the piece of mind having them repair it out weighs the money factor.

I have to say it again. Jayco has been great to work with. To bad most dealers just care about selling.
