Smile Hello From North of 60

Hello all! Our family has a 2016 Jayco NorthPoint 375BHFS and love it. This is our second Jayco trailer. I find their quality and workmanship second to none. We upgraded to something a bigger as our kids were getting bigger and our first trailer was getting smaller. We camp on the south shore of the Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories, so we consider it our "cabin by the lake". I am very excited to have found this forum and to learn from other Jayco owners, maybe pick up a few tips and tricks, and maybe offer some help from some of my own experiences. Take care all and happy camping!

Well a big welcome to you up in the great white north! I had to look at my map program to locate your area. looking forward to hearing more about your escapades and hopefully plenty of pictures.

Cheers,

Jeff

Welcome, I bet that is some remote country up there. How long is your camping season?

We are starting about now and usually go until mid-September. Some go as late as our Thanksgiving which is in October. We have the Victoria Day Long weekend coming up next week and that is when the Territorial Parks usually open. But, you never know what you'll get for weather. It can be in the mid to high 70's or it could be snowing.

As for remote country, you don't have to drive very far to find a spot. We are surrounded by nothing but trees. I feel bad for campers that have to travel for hours to go camping. We can drive for 20 minutes and be away from it all. You can't imagine how much open space we have.
