New 2017 Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel - 321RSTS

Hi! We're new to the Jayco forum. On Tuesday, 4/4/17, we're picking up our new Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel and couldn't be more excited.

We had a 1994 Jayco Eagle TT that we just sold and are upgrading to the Fifth Wheel. We'll be pulling it with a 2016 Ford F-350 6.7L Diesel.

Any advice to us new fifth wheel owners that we should look for during delivery? We want this to go smoothly and would like to be as informed as possible. We know Jayco Forum friends will be honest with us.

New 2017 Jayco Eagle Fifth Wheel - 321RSTS

Welcome aboard from another Texan. My only advice is to post a picture. We all like pictures....well, I do anyway. I'm new here too and this place has been very helpful.

Welcome from Michigan! We have the TT version of your new rig (330RSTS) and absolutely LOVE IT! Our "shakedown" trip was actually a 4 month stay in Florida and couldn't be happier with our decision. I am sure you will as well. ENJOY!

We did find a post with a PDI checklist I have printed out. Thank you for the "welcomes" and I definitely will post pics on Tuesday. We're very excited. We did a thorough once-over last Monday and pointed out some things already. We originally ordered one back in February and we were told it was a 4 to 6 week build time. We figured we were good. Then the dealer called 3 weeks later with a late-May build date with no real hope of having it by Memorial Day. They got one from a dealer in Grand Rapids that the customer they got it for never came back for. It was missing a couple things that we could live without so we decided to take delivery of that one instead of waiting who knows how long.
