New guy, quick ?

Hi all,
First post. Proud owner of a pre owned 08 32BHDS. Family decided to upgrade to this from our beginner unit, an 89 26' Yukon, late in the season last year. Got this old one for next to nothing to try it and see if we all enjoyed using it. Ran it for 5 years, sold it for a profit, go figure, and decided we wanted something newer and larger! We only made one trip with it last year, but love the Jayco and look forward to dusting it off and getting some use out of it this year!
Quick question, when we purchased it we were only supplied with one set of keys for each entry door. I believe I read somewhere that Jayco will send you another set. Anyone know if this is true and what info do I need to contact them.
Appreciate any help and suggestions.
Walt

I had extra keys made at the local hardware store for my 28BHBE.

You can order straight from the company and it's not that expensive. I ordered a spare set for our previous TT.

Replacement Keys | Bauer Products

I don't know if you can order from Jayco but have your Vin # ready to give them.

Hope that helps.

A locksmith is probably your best bet, instead of the kid who knows how to use the key cutter at the big box store. We lost a set of keys for our old hybrid while camping and fortunately we had a spare set in the glove compartment of our truck. When we got home I took them to a locksmith and had two more sets made. They had a heck of a time finding the right blanks for the trailer's door, but discovered that the blanks for "The Club" vehicle anti-theft device were right, just a little too long. This was definitely a case where a professional's knowledge and experience came in handy.

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!

...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!

As mentioned in a previous post the mfr Bauer has the keys. There is a number stamped on the key, just send them the # and of course $$. They are not expensive as I have had a couple sent to me already.
