New Jayco Owner from Fair Oaks, CA

Hi everyone!!!!

Went to the Sacramento Spring RV show this past weekend and am trading my Coachman Class-C in for a new Jayco Greyhawk 31SS, loaded!!! I spent three days looking, reading, researching and decided to make the move after 3 trips to the show!!! We should have our new rig in about 2 weeks!!!

My wife and I both work in healthcare and will be retiring in 2 1/2 years. I'm retired from the Air Force as well. This August I'm turning 60 and will be taking 6 weeks vacation going from CA to MA, down to New Orleans, over to the Texas Gulf Coast and back to Nor Cal. We'll be towing our Harley Road King for running around and doing a bit of 2 wheeled touring along the way.

I belong to some other forums so I'm familiar on how they work and I'm sure I'll find some good information here to enhance our RV experience even more.....

Thanks for the welcome aboard... Everything's been said and done and we leave early Wed morning to Spokane, WA to pick-up our new rig. The nice part will be driving it back to Sacto and getting acquainted with it. We unloaded the old rig yesterday. It's amazing how much stuff one puts in their RV for living on the road. Anytime we travel, there will be pics along the way. A friend of mine was trying to talk his wife into an RV. He response was, "Why should I spend money to live like a homeless person?" OK..... meanwhile back at the ranch....
