Smile New Owner From Central PA

Wife and I are owners of a new 2010 Jayco G2 31BHDS and will be putting it on a permanent site in central PA very soon. Am looking for any tips/tricks and or things to do or not do on a permanent site. Planning on installing an 8' X 16' foot deck after the snow stops in April 2011. Site has electric, water and sewer will be installed this fall. Our site is not in a permanent site camp ground but on private land, next to a creek with only one other site. What have other permanent site folks do to make it a homie place?

Like Mustang I can't think of a lot off stuff right off the cuff except to say you might want to consider how close the site will be to the creek. If the parcel of land is close to foot hills, etc check to see if the creek floods and swells way over its banks in the spring or doing heavy rains. You don't want that trailer too close to the creek "if" it's' known to flood.

Welcome to the forum Paflyfisher, hang in there, someone will chime in with helpful comments.

Welcome to the forum paflyfisher! I can't help out too much on the permanent site suggestions, but if your that close to a creek I can recommend some fly fishing! I do a fair amount of fly fishing out of my kayak when we camp near water.
