Hi from Arizona! Congratulations on the new trailer and welcome to the forum.
Most of us use inverter generators. The small Champion, Honda, and Yamaha units are quiet and will handle smaller loads like charging your battery etc. You will need a pair of them and a parallel kit to have enough power to run your air conditioner, however. Several of us have Champion 3100 inverter generators; they are quiet and one of those has enough power to run the air conditioner.
If noise isn't an issue, there are contractor generators. Those are very noisy.
