slide toppers and rear levelling legs

I just picked up my Jacyo 2007 Designer from the dealership as they have been unable to sell it for a year. I go to pull the slides out to wash everything down as I am going to try to sell it locally. The top of the slides are covered in crude and the back of the fabric, where is attaches to the trailer has pulled away. Looks like its come out of its track? Is there an easy way to put this back in? Unfortuntely I learned the hard way as there was still water sitting on top and when I slide it back in water poured into the camper! Also the rear levelling legs no longer work......they lowered but now do not retract. Thoughts?

For the slide toppers:
On our motorhome there is a seam that can be repaired with synthetic thread they sell at Walmart.
If the seam is good but the plastic rod has broken, it will need to be replaced. This also may require releasing the tension on the spring and resetting it after the awning fabric is put back into place.
