Our two Canuck prognosticating rodents, Wiarton Willy and Shubenacadie Sam, both predicted a short winter.

Of course up here, 6 more weeks would be a short winter

If it's 6 more weeks of what we've had so far, this year. It's OK by me!


3 storms. Only one needed plowing. So far only 3 or 4 days where temperatures didn't get above freezing. Only 1 night into single digits F. We've gotten away really cheep this winter (knock wood).

I've seen several reports from reliable sources... (Facebook posts)... that Phil is no more. His prediction was not well taken and he has been devoured by either a large dog, a wolf, or a very fat cat... or possibly they conspired and shared a sumptuous meal... I saw it on the internet... so it must be true!

Yeah, we've had it pretty good here also this winter but Mother Nature has a way of making up for things. Maybe she'll give us a break.
