It is 63 degrees here this morning and I definitely don't need heat inside, but it seemed like a good idea to try out the furnace for a couple of minutes to make sure it is ready for winter. It worked perfectly. I do have a bug screen over the outside vent.

Hey Ed, did you look into your floor vents before you fired up the furnace? I looked into mine, and a lot of dirt had fallen into them since last winter. I removed the vents and vacuumed them out before I checked my furnace out last week. I swear, there was a half inch of dust bunnies in my kitchen vent.

Still waiting for my CO/Propane detector and LED lights to arrive from Amazon... my next projects.

No I didn't Bill. I only ran the furnace about two minutes, just log enough to make sure it was working. I have looked at them since then and there isn't anything significant in them. I just live clean I guess - haha.

Have to post the pic. Later because I'm at Fort Stevens SP. With only 1 bar and it won't show the pic.
At lincoln city now, I'll try that pic again.

Hey Ed, where is your home base and also when and where is your next hosting gig? Maybe our paths will cross one day.
Happy Trails.
