Went up our extension ladder and lubricated the television antenna for the first time. Works better now.

Replaced the tv antenna lifting arms. They forgot to go down and hit a low limb.

Also replaced the LP/CO detector. Got a replacement from the company as it went out before the 5 year life.

Gave my 23RB a bath, particularly the front. It had collected a bunch of bugs.

Replaced the factory (plastic) vanity faucet with a Glacier Bay nickle finish faucet. One of the jewel knobs on the old faucet split in half (3rd time since I owned the camper) and I had enough. Glad I remembered a basin wrench because hand tightening the lines to the new faucet wasn't enough to get them to seal.

Emptied everything out of her and cleaned the inside. Getting ready to trade her off for a 2018 Jayco 28.5 Eagle HT. Very bittersweet!

Funny, I’m the one who always wants to try something new. DW would go to Ft Davis all the time if she had her way. Where is beaver bend?

Just FYI, the last time we were there there was NO cell coverage, NO over the air TV stations and only 2 radio stations. This is part of the reason that I soo LOVE this place!

I love being disconnected. One of the things we like about Davis mountains SP....no cell, no WiFi, and 1 radio station

Didn’t do anything but daydream about getting it back from the dealer. Hopefully next week I’ll be picking it up.

Inspected the brakes, re-packed the bearings, and installed the wheels with new tires mounted and balanced. PO had replaced the factory load range C with load range D, I stuck with the load range D as well as I didn't feel confident in the very close margin between the load range C limits and the GVW (less than 500lbs with the tongue correctly loaded!).

Most importantly got it off the jack-stands before the next windstorm hit. Looks good with new shoes! Which makes me want to give it a good wash this weekend after I do some seasonal maintenance.

Yesterday: Set the air in the tires, filled the fresh water tank, lubed the slide rails, loaded the generator and fuel jugs in the basement

Today: Will stock the camper with food and clothes, and probably hitch it to the truck

Tomorrow: Will haul the camper to the Texas Motor Speedway campground to stay for five days. The forecast all week is for highs in the mid-80's and lows in the mid-60's.
