I waited until today to do my monthly Onan run since I'm going to Talladega one week from today and wanted one final run before the trip to make sure all is well. It has been running for for 15 minutes and I will keep it running for the normal full hour.

I volunteer at Talladega and it will be a 6 day boondocking trip. I will fill up my gas tank after the run as well as load 10 gallons of extra gas in the bed of my truck for the trip. I normally run the generator 15-25 hours during this week trip.

I bet that's a hoot. That race brings people not normally seen in everyday society out of the woodwork LOL

Two new Interstate 6 volt dep cycle batteries. Old ones made it 4 years. COSTCO for about $90 apiece.

Washed our 330RSTS top to bottom, front to back including the slide toppers, awnings and roof. Don't think I will try to do it all in one day again. The finger typing this is probably the only body part not hurting.

Turned the heater on to run overnight even though we are not going to use it. We camped all weekend and it was in the low to mid 80's. It's snowing and low 30's and heading in the the high 20's over night. I know that it should not freeze, but it will not hurt to let the furnace run.

Got it out of storage...FINALLY!! De-winterized and went through all the systems. Headed to dealer tomorrow for a few warranty items. Now if only spring would arrive.. still snowflakes in the air here!

I found out my new 18 31fs greyhawk does not have the tire pressure monitor sensors that are suppose to be on it and I am getting a run-a-round from the dealer. Any help?

Today I'm at the dealer having the tall front AC unit replaced with a low profile unit. Easy swap out. While I'm here I'll have them top off the propane, re-install one side of a sagging undercarriage enclosure and pick up some supplies. Heading out on a long trip at the end of next week.

Partitioned off the front cargo area from that under the rear of the bed. Used 2X2s and put batt insulation inside. Skinned it with cedar ply on both sides. Since we store clothes under there, DW loved the aromatic cedar. When I get time, I’ll probably buy more ply and finish off the “walls.” Just like a cedar chest. But first, it’s off for a camping trip next week!

Flushed the anti-freeze out of the water system and used the hot water tank wand to flush it out in preparation for sanitizing the water system this weekend. Also tested the propane appliances (excluding hot water tank) and checked for any propane leaks. So far everything looks good :-)

I'm planning to do the same partition and also add a set of drawers. I did that on my previous trailer and my wife really liked the convenience of not having to lift the bed to get to the storage, specially when the grandkids are playing on the bed

Received a second notice on the LED interior light recall. I need to call and set up an appointment for our annual PA inspection anyway so I may as well set up the recall. THis will be the 1st time back to the dealer.
