Just pulled mine out of storage this morning. Loading up for Pendernales SP in Hill Country near Austin. Leaving tomorrow...I'll take lots of pics!

First post.

Hopefully paying for it today, hoping to be proud new owners of a '16 white hawk 24mbh by the end of the day.

I have camped since I was a toddler with my parents, I sleep in a tent a lot for work, and its time to start passing the outdoors on to my kids who are 3 and 4. Time to start making memories!!

Need to start searching the site for stuff I need to buy for it right away.. Even though we won't be able to use it for a couple more months because of winter I want to be ready the first chance we get.

I guess I need to quit posting about my full timing, morning coffee, etc. Soooo, this morning I'm sitting here with 4 electric heaters running warming things up in here. It only got down to 34 overnight so my furnace never came on to keep a bit of heat in the underbelly area. When forecast to be below freezing for more than just a little bit and for only an hour of two I don't really worry about furnace heat, but when really cold I turn off all but one electric heater in the furnace thermostat area, set the thermostat at 60-63 and retreat to the bedroom area, close the door and enjoy a small ceramic heater to keep me all toasty. The furnace comes on when necessary and the pipes are happy. No problems with this procedure down to 8 degrees a couple of years ago.

Gonna be mid 60's today -

"Just make sure you have the right plug so you can run your generator with it, if needed. It is easy to make and save yourself $40." Thanks, we haven't dry camped, 'cause there's only two seasons here. Winter, and July 4th. We like CG's with full hookups if staying longer than a weekend.
