Cut our trip short this weekend. It was just too hot. Our AC couldn't keep up, and the swimmin' hole where we were staying was full. So we had virtually no escape from the oppressive heat. So we packed it all up early and headed home where at least we could sit in our pool... and the AC at the sticks & bricks has no trouble keeping up.

Probably going to get the trailer ready for semi-long-term storage this week; it's just too hot to go anywhere. Maybe one more night in a few weeks, then we're probably not camping until the heat breaks in September or October...

On the up side, DW and I are considering adding a second AC unit. We purchased the trailer with "2nd AC Prep", so it shouldn't be anything I can't handle...

A little late but did the monthly generator maintenance - checked the oil and ran the A/C for an hour. Also cleaned the gutters out since everything is dry again and did a quick roof inspection. Still hoping to find some time to install the MaxxAir over the bathroom vent before the next trip out.

I just did one on my bedroom vent. 3/16 drill bit, phillips screwdriver, crescent wrench and about 10 mins is all you will need. SUPER EASY!

Early am - enjoy a couple of cups of coffee. By mid-morning to late afternoon I'm just sitting in my Designer and enjoying the 2 a/c's doing their thing. It is much too hot to do anything outside.

Lately it's been a conspiracy of suspiciously timed rain showers coupled with the DW's suggestion that the main bath be remodeled.....

Today I fixed and reinstalled of my inverter, modified the AC outlet above the cab so that passengers can watch TV while motoring, and change the oil on my Melbourne 29D.
