Grime

Yep, it was dirty. Found zero cracks in the sealant or anyplace around perimeter. Washed sidewalls and I'll bet it weighs 10 lbs less.

Added USB charging to my side of the bed
Added an awning led dimmer
Washed it
Repacked all storage areas
Waiting for Amazon to finally ship me the correct struts

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and warm water with a cap full of bleach. The Magic Erasers make this a very easy job.

Scrubba

Washed roof yesterday. Cut rear 'vents' out of AC cover. Note hail damage in spite of grille being present. Washed all of and ceramic coated what I could before heat got to me. At 102 degrees NOBODY should be outside...Oh, painted matching accent on A/C cover to dress it up.

Brought it home

We've rented before, but picked up our new X17Z yesterday (and joined the site while waiting for the WDH to get installed). The summer/fall is looking bright!

Looking at the pictures, it appears that your daughter is doing all the work while you are sitting back taking pictures... ~CA

Purchased a portable a/c unit from Costco on a whim today. It was $550, but I had a $140 gift card, so I figured why not. I'm hoping that it'll cool the RV down faster on travel days. I'll find out when we head to the panhandle of FL next month. I've been testing it here at the sticks & bricks today...all I can say is wow! I should have bought one of these a long time ago. I may just set it up in the bedroom on my side of the bed and use it in the mean time!

DW and I removed the old chalking and resealed the kitchen counter top. DW does a much better job than the factory.

Talking tongue jack switch

Replaced the hitch jack rocker switch on our 17 Jayco 23RB. Ordered from Wesco in Knoxville. Up side of the switch died.
Factory install was quite solid for a change but all went well and no more cranking!

I just opened it up and did a walk through. No more time off until maybe sometime in after July. The fourth is a no go for us. We need to keep the house safe from neighbors ill gotten fireworks.

Went out an confirmed the propane regulator was one of the ones impacted by the recall (it is). Considering I'm camping 4 weeks in the next 6, I need to get that replaced before I head out...

Ours was recalled for the stove saddle valves, haven't heard anything about the regulator.
