For the last couple of days, we've been cleaning up from a really dusty trip, and today, we fastened the bathroom shelf unit to the wall better. Before, we used Velcro, and that worked fine till we went over this really seriously rocky/bumpy road. The Velcro came off the wall, and the shelf unit crashed down. Now it's much more secure.

Meantime, DH is mopping the interior, and I started washing the outside. We have learned that a string mop is not the best tool for that job, but we may not have time to get something proper before our next trip - we're leaving in 4 days - so we'll consider doing it this way the comic relief for the day.

Haven't had it on long enough to evaluate it yet. But I am happy with the fit and ease of installation. I'll have another opinion when I take it off, I'm sure!

De-winterized and fired up the water system. Hot water heater flashed up on second try and worked well with electric so we could test the shower. Happy to report "No Leaks". Test fired furnace and it is also working well (we are in Canada after all . )
Gonna shake her out for a weekend test run.
Happy Camping

Not so much today, but over the last several weeks after getting new trailer I:
1) mounted waste hose tube I took off old trailer
2) Installed "Flip Foot" tongue foot
3) Installed holder case for my "Equalizer" bars when not in use
4) Loaded and organized all the "stuff" that permanently resides in the trailer
5) installed Fastway Zip breakaway cable

Installed Hellwig sway bar in 2016 Melbourne. Sway bar helps and will be adding Sumo springs as an extra measure. Picture is OEM verses Hellwig.

Put sound dampening material on inside of microwave bottom cover and wall to try to quite it down. If this don't work I am tempted to rip it out.

Also washed it.

Be careful with the Fastway flip foot. Had a BIG incident that almost caused damage to trailer and daughter. I ditched the thing after that. Just make sure it's 100% locked in. Mine wasn't. Collapsed, X-chocks didn't hold and she rolled about 2 feet almost hitting daughter as she came around the front.

People here sometimes use duct tape to remove cactus spines. We don't laugh till they're all out.

I know the concern with the flip foot. Have been using it for years, and ALWAYS make sure it is locked before loading full weight on it. Just takes a few seconds to make sure it is locked, but the flip saves me a TON of time and bending over when setting / taking up trailer.
It's like anything else, once you learn the idiosyncrasies, it all works out.

Shook the pine tree droppings from my awning, then swept my rug clean.

Over the weekend...
Removed the cover, started the fridge, purged the propane, swept.

Installed a night light in the bathroom.

Flushed and filled the water system.

Just have to add food and we'll be ready for camping!

I had been using the flip foot for years as well. Thing is, things fail. It looked locked like it always has. I'll be building my own foot from here on.

Got it dirtier
It's on its first trip. So far 4000 miles and almost three weeks living in it
There are issues. The monitor panel is crap says we have no power and the tanks are all full.
We have been using campground bathrooms and dump stations so we know the lights lie.
We're in Sedona AZ good we got a little unit it's done several tens of thousands of feet mountain climbing and descending
Sway command has been a godsend
