What if you won a million?
JUST CURIOUS. What would be the VERY FIRST RV related item you would buy if you won one million dollars.
For me it would be a larger beer cooler.

Good question and one I should ponder before answering I suppose. The first thing that comes to mind is the tax Uncle Sam would want so that lowers the $1,000,000 a bit. But after helping a lot of folks that really need some help (this leave me with precious little) and if I was going to keep my current trailer I guess I'd buy a good generator and have it installed as a built in unit w/ fuel tank in a safe area. One thing I do miss is a generator, especially when dry camping in the National Parks and some State Parks.
OK, there you have it even if I was a bit long winded with my reply.

The pink slip.
Then maybe I'd start looking around for something to trade it in for.

We don't pay taxes on lottery wins in Canada, at least not yet. This Friday the Lotto Max is 50 million bucks and you get cash or free tickets if you get all 7, 6 plus bonus and all the way down to 3 numbers. After the prize gets up to 50 million they give a 1 million prize for every million over the 50. This Friday it will be 26 prizes but they must be exact, no money for 6 or less numbers.
I watched a do***entary on TV the other night about people who won lotteries in the US and how they coped with the money. One old guy went from rags to riches and back, not sure of the time frame but I kind of felt sorry for him that no one came to his rescue.

A rig for the wife! (okay, I'm kidding AND I'm going to pay for that later....)
I'd probably opt for a new TV - a million would buy me a pretty nice truck & pay for the fuel, at least for a little while! Wouldn't be anything fancy, just something with a bit more umph!

Let's see, if I'm gonna dream, I'll dream big...I would start with a Dodge RAM 3500 dually, then find the nearest, reputable Jayco dealer and get a 5'er, and then something for my DW and son...probably the awning lights...they both want a set!

Give money to the church for the new family center. Pay off the mortgage on my sister's homes. Sock some in the bank. Buy a new truck and a top of the line Jayco Pinnacle, load it up with amateur radio equipment.

The first thing I would do is fill the tank on my truck. Then I would quit my job.- - - - -wait--I don't have a job.
