Amsoil

Has anyone used Amsoil for the oil change and is there any noticeable difference?

All I use in my motorcycles. That oil has a good reputation. My bike loves the stuff.

I stick with Mobile one synthetic in my cars / trucks, mostly out of habit, but in some of my other forums we get into heated 'oil' discussions and it usually ends up in first or second place.

General consensus is it's oil - change it often.

Any Ford warranty issues by using Amsoil?

And to add changing oil often, if you are towing you should change transmission fluid at the "severe duty" mileage rather than the standard.

I used to tow with Dodge Grand Caravans and failed to do so at the cost of a rebuild.

Nope. However, since you don't know me I don't recommend taking my word for it

Look for the API label on your bottle.

API Engine Oil Classification

You could always call Ford and ask them, I'm sure it will be a super fast conversation.
