Bed frame

I've seen the mod on here and can't find it where someone did extra support under the queen bed in a travel trailer. What size lumber was used and if anyone can tag me or point me toward the post I would greatly appreciate it

Here's one of the posts - http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f7...hts-38614.html

I searched for "bed support" with quotes and found quite a few.

Most people are using 2x2 lumber. There are really a lot of options.

Just as soon as my TT is delivered to me, this will be the first modification I make.

bed support

I have a 2014 267bhs I used 1x1 and built a wall dividing the pass through and compartment under the bed. The main reason was to support the bed and not divide it. Basically built it like a wall in your house. except not 16" on centre. I also used some metal flat elbow brackets for extra support. The bed still lifts up and down as normal. And where the wall is takes most of your weight would be. The following year I had extra plywood. so I covered and finished the wall.
