Front window modification for 174BH

I'm sure someone's thought of this before but my search on this forum brought up nothing so here goes....

Do any of you have suggestions on how to modify the front window so I can put my kayak through the window to transport it? For various reasons I don't want to get a car roof mount but my 12 foot kayak will fit perfectly (already measured everything three times) by sliding it through the window (if it was removable or liftable) and hauling it IN the camper. Has anyone done anything to that front window? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Pictures of window would help, but I'll assume it's a fixed window.
My 1st thought would be to remove frame, it unscrews under trim.
Maybe you could take window out, replace frame into hole.
Then cut a piece of plexiglass larger than hole and hinge it to the frame or above frame.
Use some foam tape to seal against frame and a simple latch on the bottom.
Take the hinge pin out to remove window when transporting kyak or hinge it up and against the side wall.

Just a quick thought.

Yes, Doug, it's a fixed window with a stone guard on the outside that lifts up. Thanks for your suggestion. I think that would work.
