Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW30 install review
I made a response to a post regarding power quality at CG's, being nieve I assumed all would be good at CG's. There were many responses in that thread that swayed me to want one, and research pointed me away from one that hung outside, and towards hard wired and a remote display, but I found this one for $190 and forwent the remote display.
I ordered an Progressive Industries EMS-LCHW30 last weekend and it came in today. I have already installed and can verify it works/is receiving clean power from an outlet in my garage. Very simple install, cut cables out a foot from the inverter, strip back 3" and connect trailer end to the load side and the cord/receptacle to the line in (my next mod, I bought a 50' 30 amp extension cord, $39.99! I will use with a receptacle on side of trailer). Couldn't of been any more simple.
Many might think it's overkill what I will do to my sport 8, but I got a good deal on it and will get a lot of use out of it. After the receptacle is some sort of ammeter, there are a few inexpensive ones on the eebay... Might put some sort of platform on front to hold another propane tank and 2nd battery
